Cookbook

A family and culture's recipes are their identity. With this cookbook page done in conjunction with the rest of my class for coursework at Michigan State, I was able to share my family's history as well as culture and customs. I stuck to simple colors. I used red and white to represent Poland, and I added black for simple contrast and cohesion with the brightness of the red.

The red itself is the "Imperial Red" used by Poland in their flag, and I wanted that to be apparent to those who saw it. My family's customs and rules are also on full display with this work, and while embarrassing, I believe it is the best way to showcase our history and love for our people.
